TL;DR: Sent my M4 MacBook Air in for a standard repair. The repair was completed, but the laptop has been stuck at Apple's centralized backend logistics depot in India since April 11th. Standard support is useless, so I had to file a formal grievance with the government consumer protection agency. Placed my order on 28th March. Nothing changed on the order status till 3rd April. I sent an email to customer care with nodal officer in CC. No reply. This week Monday and Tuesday, I sent 2 more emails. Got a reply from grievance redressal saying they'll look into it. A few hours later, my order was finally showing package ID now. Got it delivered in less than 2 days since it was dispatched. Bluedart secure is fast. I didn't even expect the package ID to match. My first order that was a platinum bar, had a mismatch. I accepted it because I read a lot of comments on Reddit. However this ID was matching, probably because someone higher up must have expedited my order. Otherwise ...
