Update: Successfully Exchanged my ₹2000 Notes at RBI Dehradun (Process & Steps)
A few days ago, I asked here if I could still exchange my ₹6000 worth of ₹2000 notes. I just finished the process at the RBI Office in Dehradun, and since a lot of you were curious, here is exactly how it works now.
The Short Version: You cannot get cash over the counter anymore. You have to send the notes to RBI via India Post, and the money is credited directly to your bank account.
